Inquire primarily conducts quantitative public opinion research through live telephone interviews that is supplemented with peer-to-peer self-administered text-to-web interviews. In addition to quantitative research, Inquire executes qualitative research including focus groups, dial testing and panel studies. When you want to dig deeper on a nuanced or sensitive issue, discussion-based focus groups are insightful. Rob Schmidt has degrees in quantitative methods, statistics and political science. He attend Marist College, studying and working at the Marist Institute of Public Opinion (MIPO) where he started as a telephone interviewer and learned the ins and outs of survey research. Over the last 15 years, Rob has applied and refined the science of polling to campaigns and causes.
